As a military psychologist/counselor/professional, you may be required to present specific projects for grant reviews, committee approvals, and budgetary concerns or to present a specific justification for a program or project.
The audience that you present the information to may not have all the information available to read or the familiarity with the topic presented. According to chapter 16 in The tongue and quill, the bullet background paper provides the specific background for a program, policy, problem, or procedure. It can summarize a package of requirements or policies, and additionally, can explain details of a specific policy.
Given the examples for a bullet point summary in this week’s assignment and after reviewing the sample “bullet point paper” and the information provided, prepare a bullet background paper or summary to support the facts relating to the positive aspects of the military healthcare benefits systems. There are three categories of populations who may receive care. Please choose one:
- Veteran of Active Duty
- Retiree of the National Guard of Reserve ( those who are not entitled to full military retired pay and benefits– known an gray area retirees).
- Retiree of Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserve (who are receiving full retired pay and benefits)
