And the only requirement is that you find it personally compelling and that there is sufficient, published information for you to be able to write your paper.You discover as much about that object as possible including things like:

Where/why was it made?
What does it mean?
what is the history of that object?
what is the historical significance of that object?
what can we learn through that object?
The paper must be fully referenced with footnotes or endnotes. Unattributed information is unacceptable.
