Write an example of moral problem.The narrative part should be shorter now that the focus is on ethical analysis. Be sure again to focus on a particular example of a moral problem. Cover the following points using your moral example.
What exactly is the moral problem?
What are different options for action?
Formulate your thesis/claim/conclusion: This is the morally right thing to do.
Now give reasons (premises) for you claim. In doing so, apply one or more of the moral theories we have studied. Does the theory provide reasons that support your own claim? Or does it contradict your conclusion? If that is the case, you have to find alternative reasons in support of your own conclusion.
Consider possible objections to your conclusion, again making use of ethical theories.
Conclude.
Two pages, double-spaced, one-inch margin. If you quote from the book or other readings, put in quotation marks and give the reference. Also provide a reference if you paraphrase.
