You are a medical assistant in a family practice. You have been asked by your physician to prepare a patient education file. The file should contain handouts on chronic disease, nutrition, exercise, and a healthy lifestyle. Brainstorm topics that would fall into those categories and research one to two of those topics. Then, prepare a one to two page paper about the topic(s). In addition, gather a list of community resources that would be beneficial for patients with that particular health problem; be sure to include a minimum of 10 community resources from your area with their contact information and what they offer. Don’t forget to cite your sources.
