Examples: conduct literature review of surveillance programs for health condition, execute data analysis to identify trends in utilization of medication, write final report to synthesize data, track current health policy trends, review similar programs to adapt for new program
1)By the end of the course the student will explore and acquire knowledge related to the role and responsibilities of the Nursing leader in Women?s health.
2) By the completion of the course the student will complete a self-assessment of their, values, strengths, and weaknesses to further develop their leadership style effectiveness.
3) By the end of the course the student will demonstrate specialized knowledge and expertise to facilitate nursing practices and change modificatio , by using evidence based practices literature with nursing practice standards.
Example Practicum Learning Objectives The following is a list of example learning objectives based on the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals. The Core Competencies include Analytics/Assessment Skills, Policy Development/Program Planning Skills, Communication Skills, Cultural Competency, Community Dimensions of Practice Skills, Public Health Sciences Skills, Financial Planning and Management Skills, and Leadership and Systems Thinking Skills. The list of learning objectives below the Core Competencies are examples and not exhaustive of all potential practicum learning objectives.
Demonstrate learning and application in Analytics/Assessment Skills such as through the following: ? Define a Public Health problem ? Obtain and interpret data to define risks to the community ? Identify the importance of data in shaping public health issues

Identify the role of government in health promotion ? Develop community public health assessment in collaboration with community partners
Demonstrate learning and application in Public Health Sciences Skills such as through the following: ? Utilize public health assessment tools to assess health status ? Apply methods of social sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, infection control and chronic disease prevention
