PSA responses need to be in an essay format: introduction with a main argument underlined or highlighted, body paragraphs, and a conclusion (2-3 sentences) and follow standard formatting: 12 point font, Times New Roman, doubled spaced, and at least 1.5 pages long.
Use the grammar guide to help you with citations, making an argument, and the difference between 1st and 3rd person POV, as points will be deducted.

Make to include information from the textbook (WH p.#) and lecture PPT (Mod #) to support your argument. No outside research, except for Ancient History Encyclopedia (Links to an external site.) Online and the Zoroaster article, which needs to be cited in the PSA along with the required sources, textbook, and lecture module.
Overview:
Zoroaster, in the Gathas, outlines a philosophy in which opposing forces of light and truth battle those of darkness and lies. These hymns, which are addressed by Zoroaster to the god of light Ahura Mazda, praise the god and seek his guidance. Zoroaster’s ideas were eventually adopted by kings to undergrid the Persian state and justify their rule.
