QUESTION 1: Chapter 5 in our book discusses the political philosophies of Aristotle, Jean Jacques Rousseau, James Madison, and Adam Smith and Karl Marx. Compare and contrast each of these philosophers in terms of their basic political assumptions, as well as the political systems they spawned. Then please assess, from your own point of view, which philosopher represents your view of politics and political systems, and why you feel that way.
QUESTION 2: Chapter 6 in our book discusses contemporary ideologies. Please define “ideology” before comparing and contrasting the four following ideologies: Marxism-Leninism, Democratic Socialism, Classical Liberalism, and Ethnic Ultra-nationalism. What in your view amount to the “pluses and minuses” of each ideology, and at the end of the day, which one do you think offers the best approach to secure the goals of society?Please double space your essay, use Times New Roman #12 font, have your name and title on it, and use page numbers and one-inch margins. Have an introduction, main body of arguments, and a conclusion.
