Primary Post: By Wednesday: Provide a brief description of the project you have chosen to use as part of this course’s assignments. In general, the project may be real or one made up that you want to use for the rest of this course. You may not use a project that from a previous class.
Your project must:
- Last at least 6 months (duration)
- Involves at least ten stakeholders
- Have a need for several types of resources (material, equipment, human)
- Be professional in nature (no personal projects such as a wedding, vacation, party, etc.)
- It must be a project that you have a reasonable amount of knowledge about or can research. For instance, if you choose a building project, I will expect you to be able to reasonably explain aspect of the projects and make reasonable estimates. If you cannot, then you will need to choose a different project.
At a minimum your post should provide:
- A brief description of the project (or workplace environment)
- What business need or requirement does the project address?
- What are the one or two challenges that come to mind when thinking about this project type?
Between Thursday and Sunday: For any two primary posts, provide recommendations to their project’s challenges.
