Project Management Unplanned Event and Project Status Report

In this unit, you will continue executing your project plan. While doing so, an unplanned event occurs that you must overcome. In addition, you will conduct another status meeting with the key stakeholders and report on project progress and status. Identify any risks that have occurred and/or been identified and how they are being addressed, as well as any effect on the critical path and project outcome. Regarding the unplanned event that you encounter, be prepared to challenge yourself. You can pick the challenge. Here are some examples: A key member leaves the team The budget has been cut by 10% The schedule has been moved to a week earlier By conducting a meeting with the key stakeholders and reporting on project status, you will overcome the unplanned event and come up with a solution. In addition, you will identify the risks, how they may be addressed, and any effect on the critical path and project outcome
1. Defined an unplanned event, described why you selected it, described how it impacts the project (high level), and proposed solution(s) to it.
2. Submitted a status report with an agenda, meeting minutes, and updated WBS reflecting any completed and/or modified tasks including the impact that unplanned event may have had on the schedule
3. Submitted at least a two page APA style paper (excluding title page )
