Outline Thesis: In todays society abortion is a real issue. Every person has his or her own opinion about abortion. While adoption is an option for some, others would not consider it. I. Abortion is the killing of a human being and goes against the word of god. A. Unborn babies are considered human beings and abortion is considered murder. B. At the time of conception unborn babies are considered humans with a right to live. C. “In 2014, Tennessee became one of only a few states to effectively propose and win a pro-life Amendment to their state Constitution. Abortion can reduce the number of adoptions to a good family and a loving home. A. Adoption is another alternative to abortion. A woman can give there babies up for adoption. B. Most women can experience emotional and mental side effects after abortion. III. An unborn child can feel pain during abortion. A. Although fetuses start forming pain receptors eight weeks into development, the thalamus, the part of the brain that routes information to other areas, doesn’t form for 20 more weeks.
