Examining Your Own Stress Level & Its Impact on Your Health
One of the best approaches for managing stress is to increase your own personal awareness of the role stress plays in your life. A nonprofit organization focused on the effects of stress on heart health has developed a questionnaire designed to measure your level of stress and the degree to which it may be having an adverse effect on your health.
Privately complete the brief survey at the link below (do not post your survey answers; just keep them to yourself). It will take approximately 7-10 minutes to complete the survey. (My results are attached)

When you have completed the survey and reviewed your results, answer the following questions in your main post for this discussion thread:
- Did you score in the low or high range on any of the five scales (Total Well-Being, Stress Management, Adaptability, Resilience, and Emotional Vitality)? You do not need to specify which areas were high for you.
- Were you surprised by your results? Why or why not?
- Discuss at least two of the recommendations you were provided within your results. What is the likelihood you will follow those recommendations? Why or why not?
- What was your general impression of the survey and its effect on your awareness of your stress levels, coping strategies, and areas of needed growth?
Your post should be at least 150 words in length and must include citations for at least one of the required readings for this week.
