The purpose of this writing assignment is to assess your knowledge of Psychology and your ability to apply that knowledge to situations in life.
1) Describe and explain (in your own words) four important facts, concepts, or theories you have learned in chapters 6, 7, or 8.
2) For each of the four, explain in some detail why you found it interesting and useful.
3) For two of the facts/concepts/theories, discuss in some detail how what you learned can be applied to specific aspects of life (e.g., how could you use the information you learned to understand, problem-solve, or improve situations in your life or others.)
Additional information:
1) Essay should be 3-4 page, longer then 4 pages and you will have 2 points deducted.
2) Complete this writing assignment in essay format (e.g. include an introduction & conclusion paragraph).
3) Use standard formatting (12pt font, Times New Roman, double spaced, 1 inch margins).
4) Upload only as a word document to Canvas.
5) Submit by midnight on date due. If you submit at 12:01 or later, you will have 5 points deducted. Your assignment will have 10 points deducted when it is more then 2 weeks late.
6) Please see the writing center if you had difficulties with grammar/structure on your last writing assignment.
