Chapter 15 of the textbook is about marketing research. What is marketing research? Why is it so important that companies use marketing research? Explain what quantitative research is and share what the different types of quantitative research are. Now explain what qualitative research is and share what the different types of qualitative research are. Select one specific quantitative tool and give an example of when you might use that tool (as an example shopping in your mall has dropped drastically and you want to determine why). Now select a specific type of qualitative research and give an example of when you might use that tool (as an example you have created a new ad and you want customer feedback on that ad). Have you ever participated in marketing research? If yes, what was the research about and how was it conducted? What did you think about the process?
In a minimum of 250 words answer the above questions. Remember, use a minimum of three scholarly resources and all resources must be listed at the bottom of your post and then cited in the body of your post. All references and citations must be done in APA formatting.
