READ the attached chapter of the book.
After you have read the assigned excerpts from Spike Lee’s diary, relating to the development of *Do The Right Thing*, reflect in writing on what you have discovered. Discuss the ideas or details or that caught your attention. What most surprised you? What can you connect to the world of today, and to your own artistic journey? Engage in a conversation with the text, about what you take away from Lee’s experience and perspective. Include AT LEAST THREE direct quotations from the text.
