Research Design 1: Group or Individual?

· Note: Use caution here. Most studies use a group of individuals. There are very few instances in which using a single-subject design is useful.
Research Design 2: Same or Different Individuals?

Will this study be a within-person design, a between-person design, a combination, or neither? Please explain.
Research Design 3: Number of Variables

How many variables will be observed, manipulated, or regulated?
Describe your study in terms of being a single-factor design or factorial design (e.g., two-factor design, three-factor design, etc.).
Use the language from Chapter 11 to describe your levels (for example, “This study will use a 2×2 factorial design.”)
