The following question should be answered at as an opinion based question:
1. Describe briefly some of the major social work issues and problems you are particularly concerned with in your community and country. Include your perception of social workers in dealing with these issues and problems.
The issues that I’d like to include in this 1 page assignment (OPINION BASED ANSWER) would be the stigma around mental health issues (the area I’m interested on is mental health), family therapy and how families tend to be less cooperative therefore they don’t attend therapy for the benefit of the child/adolescent (I’d like to work with children and adolescents), and how different cultures have different values and ethics which can lead to an ethical dilema.
THE OPINION BASED ANSWER should involved just as mentioned on the question : Include your perception of social workers in dealing with these issues and problems.
