stock market project a power point 58 slides 1
The project is due on may 10th so you would have more than 23 days to finish it.
Stock Project (400 points):
In order for the student to understand the security markets he/she is required to track the weekly prices of four stocks (student selects) for 8 weeks. After the 8 weeks, the student must create a “Powerpoint†presentation that illustrates the performance of the stocks.
Here are the components of the project:
1)Company History
2)Products/Services
3)Show the profit/loss earned for each stock during the eight weeks.
4)Graphically illustrate the price fluctuations over the 8 Weeks.
Step 1: Title page (title, your name, date, class it is for)
Step 2: Create slides that show company history. Develop 4 slides that have at least 5 bullet points on each slide.
Step 3: Create slides that show the products/services the company sells.
Step 4: You will be investing $10,000 in each stock. To determine the number of shares purchased, divide $10,000 by the original price per share. Example: $10,000 divided by $18.00 per share = 556 shares.
Step 5: Find the stock prices and log the daily closing price of each stock on Tuesday and Friday of each week for 8 weeks.
Step 6: At the end of the tracking period, you will multiply the number of shares by the ending price per share. Example: 556 shares x $20.00 per share = $11,120. In order to compute the amount of profit/loss earned, subtract the $10,000 (The amount invested) from $11,120.
Step 7: Now you are ready to create graphs that show how the stock price has fluctuated each week. These graphs can be easily created using Powerpoint. If you need assistance with the program, there is help in the on-campus computer labs. Be creative in creating the graphs.
