Included in personal career development plan should be short-term and long-term goals, selection of a mentor, and information specific to transitioning into the chosen role. It is important to care for self. Find balance in your life between work in nursing, school, and personal life. The personal career development plan should also include strategies to care for self and promote success in the RN-BSN program, including a study plan, and time management and stress reduction strategies.
