The two arguments can consist of articles, documentaries, feature films, youtube videos, ad campaigns, speeches, or a combination thereof. (For example, you could choose an article about President Lincoln and compare it to the feature film, Lincoln). In comparing the two perspectives, you will want to consider: How do they present or depict the person or event in question? What main argument does each source advance? How does each source support his or her argument—what types of evidence or strategies do they use? After analyzing and describing the two perspectives, you should answer: What do you think after hearing/reading these two perspectives? Did one side make a stronger argument than the other, and if so, how? Do both sides have their respective strengths and weaknesses?
