-you want to refine these biographies to make the writing as appealing and engaging as possible to readers. This means moving beyond writing them as encyclopedia/wikipedia entries. They can be stories, poems, and even the nonfiction narratives can focus on specific parts of the person’s life you find really interesting. For example, think about the first sentence of your biography. Does it say your writer/artist was born on this day and in this place? You don’t always have to start at the beginning of a person’s life. What was the most interesting fact/detail you learned about your artist/writer? That is often the best starting place to hook your readers. And then you can move forward with the chronology.
