Pretend that you are a victim of a terrible trauma, such as a motor vehicle accident in which someone died, or war combat, or being assaulted (choose one). Imagine what you would go through in the next few days and weeks. What would that be like for you? Describe some of your feelings, thoughts and sensations. How do you manage these so that you can move forward?
OR
Do you know someone who has attempted suicide? Did the person survive the attempt or not? What was it like for them leading up to the attempt? Was the suicide attempt a surprise or were there warning signs? How did their suicide attempt impact you or others in their life?
