Before knowing the difference between a Threat and weakness in an Organisation’s point of
view
, first, we will discuss the general distinction of a threat and weakness. A Threat is an external danger, whereas a gap is an internal vulnerability. Let’s get a by discussing an example. In nature, a deer would be conscious about a Tiger attack as it is a Threat to it because the tiger is an external factor that is capable of hunting and killing the deer. The same deer would protect it’s own injured legs as a faintness since that wound is an internal issue that bound’s the deer’s ability to escape the tiger’s attack. In Business or an Organisation, a Threat can be any problem that is formed out of a Business authority or outside an organization, that is, which is not in control of the company. For example, a threat is another Organisations’ ability to negatively impact your companies to achieve its goals (Petrauskas et al., 2018).
Like other companies may just have announced the
launch
of a new product that performs better a cost less than your product, which makes it more problematic for your business to attain its sales target. Now we shall talk about the weakness of the companies, A company or an Organisation is considered as an entire organization is and only if it attracts all the category of people in the society like Rich, Middle-Class, Poor. For example, a company makes low-cost products that meet the needs of low class and middle-class buyers. The company also enjoys significant market share, But it may not attract high-end buyers with either its products or the sore appearance and the ambiance of it. A weakness maybe should be accepted in some cases. The company in that example that successfully provides products to a particular market should not attempt to correct its deficiency Because doing it will result in losing the customer base that is currently making it successful (Tosun et al., 2020).
