Website design is different for a full screen browser than for smaller devices. The Mobile Web Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) recommends best practices for mobile-friendly content. In this Application, you will evaluate the content of a web page and report how well it may display on handheld devices. To prepare for this Application: Identify a web page that you visit regularly and copy its URL. Use a mobile web page evaluator, such as mobiReady or W3C mobileOK Checker, and generate a report for your selected URL. Review the report and identify strengths and weaknesses of the web page for mobile use. These may include the following: Bandwidth requirements for page and graphics Standard and valid markup Poorly supported elements such as scripting, plug-ins, frames External resources Page layout, content, structure, and navigation User inputs
