Write about an African-American who has inspired and motivated you for the opportunity to earn a $5,000 or $3,500 scholarship. Essays should be 500 words or less and should:
Address how an African-American has been an inspiration in your life.
Discuss the contributions of the African-American individual who has served to inspire and motivate you.
Rubric:
demonstration of (i) how the African American individual discussed has inspired the applicant and (ii) the contributions of such African American individual (0-25 points)
