For this assignment, select a chemical currently in use, for which we are now having second thoughts about (due to emerging information or concerns about negative health or environmental outcomes associated with its use). You might already have some in mind, or need to do an internet search to identify some candidates…but pick one (unfortunately, there are lots to choose from!).

Do some research on-line, and read some articles to educate yourself about the chemical you have chosen. Summarize its use, health concerns, current status, and what might be happening next with regard to decisions regarding its continued use. (In other words, pick a chemical that may be commonly in use and consider the “People, Poisons, and Politics” of it.)
