“Walking Correctly” Discussion
After you have watched the 4 minute video about proper alignment and correlation of legs and arms to walk more efficiently, practice implementing it in your walks this week. What do you notice about your gait and arms? Did you adjust or need to adjust anything after watching the physical therapist? Remember, when we are changing or modifying our biomechanics it may initially feel awkward/uncomfortable because it is new (and we may be correcting a less than positive habit we have developed over time!)
